Yoko Ono created a bizarre men's clothing line, inspired by John Lennon's "sexy bod," for Opening Ceremony that includes hand prints on the crotch, mesh shirts, "Lightbulb bras," and bottomless trousers.
Apparently Ono has been sitting on these masterpieces for 43 years.
"I was inspired to create ‘Fashions for Men’ amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod,” she told Women's Wear Daily. “So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod and gave it to him as a wedding present. You can imagine how he went wild and fell in love with me even more."
The clothes range from $75 to a whopping $750.
We've singled out the most outrageous.
The line's staple piece is the "hand trousers" for $335.
Which can be dressed down with a wide array of "mesh cutout shirts," costing $145 each.
Or dressed up with this $595 "hand jacket."
Surely John Lennon would champion this extremely functional $400 "bell board."
And this "lightbulb bra," which sells for $250.
The bra goes perfectly with this $200 jock strap.
This $150 "eyelet tank" has cutouts.
For a more subtle look, buy these matching $250 "cutout trousers."
But the line is about more than just hands. This "butt hoodie" costs $75. Versatile!
This strange video explains the line. Kind of.
