He is the son of Wander Franco and Nancy Aybar. His father, Wander, played professional baseball in the minor leagues and his mother, Nancy, is the sister of professional baseball player Erick Aybar. He has two brothers named Wander Alexander and Wander Javier that are also professional baseball players.
